Beautiful location, a wonderful traditional place located at the water. Food is very good, especially at Midsummer! If you're lucky you might even meet the ghost of Wanbo 👻

Vanbo is a wonderful venue. We had our wedding here. (English Groom and Swedish Bride who grew up nearby in Ludvika). The rooms are lovely, all of our guests who stayed enjoyed it. The lakeside setting is so beautiful, particularly if you are lucky with the midsommar weather like we were. The food was delicious, guests said it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Malin and her staff are so helpful and welcoming (for Swedes and English alike). They made everything so easy and stress free. Will certainly stay again and come for dinner or lunch next time we're in Ludvika

Very nice hottel with beautiful nature. It is next to the lake so you can go swimming and they also have kayaks if you ask. And the food so amazing. You can get so much for such a good price :)

A good size Saturday lunch buffet that included meat, fish, and vegetarian options. A good selection of salads. There was a cheese platter too which is less common at a buffet. There is also soup and bread. Buffet includes coffee and cake. Very relaxing location, both interior and exterior. A very small basic playground in the area.

Very cozy place This place feels very cozy, especially in winter. We arrived here at 1 AM in the morning, and even though the reception wasn't opened anymore, the owner left a message for us with all the instructions on where to find the keys and how to reach her in case of issues. Our rooms were already warm, which was very nice given the cold weather outside. The only issue I had was with the heating element in my bathroom wasn't working at all. However that wasn't a big problem, because the room was warm enough to fill in. In the morning the landscape and the lake around the hotel was breathtaking. The breakfast was decent, but nothing spectacular. In the evening the restaurant isn't opened during weekdays, which was a little disappointing since the closest restaurant is quite far away.

Really cozy and quite place, nice breakfast and relaxing evenings can be found in this place! Bonus for arranging a room for those of us who have to check-in in late hours of the night. Reccomend.
